IT WAS 9:25 PM TUESDAY EVENING WHEN MICHELE SCHOENFELD, CLERK TO THE BOARD OF EDUCATION POSTED THE FINAL TOTALS FOR TUESDAY’S WHITE PLAINS SCHOOL BUDGET ELECTION. TURNOUT WAS HIGHER THAN LAST YEAR AND THE MARGIN OF 86% OF THE VOTERS APPROVING THE BUDGET THIS YEAR WAS THE HIGHEST IN 17 YEARS.

Budget Vote:      Yes – 823

                              No  -  130

                                                  86.4% Yes Vote

 

Candidates:         Rosemarie Eller – 816
