White Plains Hospital Admissions with Covid are 42% of Mid-Hudson hospitalizations of 126

WPCNR COVID SURVEILLANCE. From New York Covid Tracker. Observation and Analysis by John F. Bailey September 16, 2024:

New covid cases in Westchester through last Thursday totaled 494 through last Thursday September 12, up 50 cases from last week. New infections averaged 91 a day in the county, the last 7 days from September 12, 633 a week projecting to 2,530 for the month.

Through the first 12 days of September Westchester has seen 1,067 new cases in September 2024,compared to 1,763 last September, a 40% decline in new cases. The county averaged 158 new cases a day in the 30 days last September (the result of 4,174 cases in August of 2023. The good news is Westchester covid is spreading at a reduced average of 91 cases a day this September compared to 158, a decline of 42%

Significantly the 572 new cased in the county spread covid to only 494 persons in 12 days an infection of  1 person spreading it to 1.86 persons, (less than one person, a containment of the disease pace).

At White Plains Hospital since August 30 through September 13, the hospital has admitted 81 patients to beds, and 42 or 52% have been found positive with covid after admission. White Plains Hospital has accounted for 1/3 of all Mid Hudson Region hospitalizations for covid, 42 of 126 hospitalizations for covid in the region.
