After a comprehensive review of the proposed closure of Hathaway Lane (from entrance on Ridgeway to Gedney Esplanade) the Planning Board (7 members) unanimously voted to advise the Common Council that the Planning Board could NOT support the closure of Hathaway Lane.

Their decision is based on the lack of substantial data on the traffic impact of the closure, the adverse effects on the larger community and the health, safety and welfare of the population effected by this proposed action.
