WPCNR FASNY-GO-ROUND. From the Gedney Association, White Plains NY USA. April 21, 2016:

In an email today, the leadership of the Gedney Association sent this message on what the organization leadership knows about the French American School of New York-City of White Plains lawsuit filed last September, requesting the court direct White Plains to vote on the Special Permit to build a new campus of 7 buildings on the former Ridgeway Country Club, after the White Plains Common Council rejected closure of Hathaway Lane, which was contingent on the Special Permit being granted:

“As you know, the City appealed Judge Lefkowitz’s Preliminary Decision to the Appellate Court.  Nothing definitive has happened to this point.  This could be a very long process.  In the meantime, we understand that Judge Lefkowitz has had several conferences with attorneys representing the City and FASNY.  We asked to attend but were told by the Court that we were not legally permitted to be at these conferences which were held in the Judge’s chambers.

As soon as we hear any news on the FASNY litigation we will immediately inform you via e-mail.   We also suggest that you call or write the Mayor and Common Council members.  After all they are our elected representatives and have a responsibility to keep the residents informed.”
