	Council of Neighborhood Associations Elects New Officers
	Education House: The Council of Neighborhood Associations elected new officers for the 2001 year at their December 19 meeting. The "United Neighborhoods" of White Plains is comprised of representatives of 25 active neighborhoods of an officially recognized 29 neighborhood associations. The group elected the following individuals to guide the CNA in 2001. Virginia Falzarano of the Battle Hill Association and Ron Shakeridge of the Rosedale Association were re-elected CO-Presidents. Marc Pollitzer of the North Street Area Civic Association and Joe Varnit of the North Broadway Citizens Association were voted Vice Presidents. Ralph Nagan of the North Street Area Civic Association was elected Treasurer. Carl Barrera of the Hillair Circle Association was voted Corresponding Secretary, and John Bailey of the Haviland Manor Association, Recording Secretary. The Association has chosen the fourth Tuesday of each month as their official meeting dates for the new year. The next scheduled meeting is January 23, 2001.
