Common Council favorable to CSEA contract terms.
OK's Berkeley College of Westchester site plan for 99 Church Street.

WPCNR has learned that the Common Council has been briefed on the terms of the settlement the city has negotiated with the Civil Service Employees Association. Mayor Delfino briefed the Common Council on the terms negotiated in an executive session Tuesday evening.
Paul Wood, spokesman for the Mayor's Office said he could not comment on the Common Council reaction to the agreement Wednesday because the information had been released in executive session. WPCNR confirmed through a source familiar with the proceedings that the council reaction was "favorable." The source said the agreement was fair to both sides and that "it's over."
The city is currently awaiting for the 450 CSEA members who are employed by the city to approve the expected agreement in a mail vote that began last Friday.
Also in the Work Sesssion Tuesday... The Common Council approved the Berkeley College of Westchester site plan for occupying 99 Church Street, and will continue discussion of joint school district and city use recreational arrangements next week, as well as discussion of traffic control devices and traffic speed control purchases.
